| We keep an ongoing grocery list inside our kitchen cabinet door... pretty handy! |

| Our first family meal on the 10 day challenge.... whole wheat banana pancakes (recipe on 100daysofrealfood.com), steamed veggies, fresh pineapple and scrambled eggs. We used 100% real maple syrup. 2 THUMBS UP from all 5 of us! |

ONE INGREDIENT!

Wrapping up day one! For breakfast today I ate a bowl of special K cereal. I was in a hurry for lunch so I packed up a peanut butter and natural strawberry spread sandwich on whole wheat bread, sliced cheese from a block put onto triscuts, and a good portion of grapes. I was very hungry for lunch and this filled me up. For supper, we tired our first recipe from the 100 days of real food blog; whole wheat banana pancakes. They were delicious! Our sides included scrambled eggs, steamed veggies, and freshly cut pineapple. We even shredded some cheese onto the scrambled eggs because we thought they were too boring. The pancakes were very filling and we all ate very well. We ate more than the 10 day food challenge meal plan called for but we are all busy bodies all day on the farm, so we burn a ton of energy and need to refuel. For a snack tonight, my brothers ate a bowl of multigrain cheerios with freshly cut strawberries on the top. In the past we used to sprinkle sugar on top, tonight they didn't even ask! Progress :-)
